Mike is the Chief Financial Officer of Hartwell Corporation, an aerospace manufacturing firm in Orange County, California.
“Captain Q”, as he is known in the Club, held the position of Treasurer for the CC>CC for 5 years from 2002-2007, and has
been a member of the club for 13 years, becoming a life member in 2002. Mike was appointed to the MoGH board by the CC>CC
board in 2008. Mike is an ardent believer that gaming memorabilia and histories be preserved for the education and enjoyment for future generations. He is THE collector of Flamingo Capri memorabilia, and also enjoys collecting older chips with classic artwork from Nevada. Mike recently completed a several years-long dream of traveling from Chicago to Santa Monica along as much of the old Route 66 as could be found. He completed the trip in 3 weeks with his good friend, Bob Weingardt. On the way to Chicago, they managed to visit casinos in Colorado and South Dakota. Mike, his wife Corni, and kids Sarah and Sean, reside in Yorba Linda, CA. Corni owns and operates a long-arm quilting service. Sarah is a junior at CSU San Bernardino, studying for a business degree. Sean achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2009 and will be entering the US Air Force June of 2010. |
